January 2013
2012 was a very eventful year at Jobstream. We expanded our team, and reached some impressive milestones in the development of Jobstream 9 as we continue successfully on our path as leading innovators in the offshore trust software industry. Here’s a brief recap of key events for us in 2012:
January – We welcome two new members of our QA team: Steven Smith and Beth Colman.
April – Jobstream 9.2 is released. This release introduced a ground-breaking full role- based operation to trust systems for the first time where each user is presented in the package with a dashboard and task list tuned to their role and the set of views, reports and actions directly relevant to them. This feature allows staff to focus on the ‘next action required’ and managers to ‘manage by exception’ – spending their time on things that need their attention.
May – Alison Wilding joins the team as our new Trainer. Replacing Margaret Sneddon was never going to be an easy job, but Alison has taken up the baton and was soon to grips with the technicality of delivering sessions on 9.2 modules.
June – For the first time we held our Technology Seminars in three different locations, with events in the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey treating a total of 80 delegates to our “Agile Trust” presentations.
June – Paul Every comes on board, strengthening our sales and consulting team and giving us a local presence in the Channel Islands.
September – Our new Marketing Executive joins the team. Yemi Olaye takes on the task of promoting Jobstream and assisting the sales team with bringing in new business.
October – Jobstream User Days in the Isle of Man and Jersey. This provided a unique opportunity for Jobstream users to attend an event tailored especially to them. Nine workshops ran over the course of the afternoon, giving our clients an opportunity to learn more about new features and enhancements Jobstream 9.2 has to offer. In addition, it provided an opportunity for our clients to network with other users and share their ideas with us for future releases.
October – Jobstream signs a partnership agreement with OpenText. Jobstream’s integration with OpenText provides our clients with a workflow engine allowing workflows to be seamlessly started, executed and monitored within the Jobstream desktop. For the first time users can have an enterprise workflow engine running within their trust system.
November – Hawksford “go live” on Jobstream, becoming the latest trust company to adopt our 2nd generation trust software. Meanwhile, Owen Taffinder joins our client support team and immediately starts helping to get customer queries answered promptly.
December – Our Development and QA team continues to grow as James Reid joins, whilst Steven Smith and Beth Coleman pass the ISEB foundation level certificate in Software Testing and Heather Parton passes the Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing.
2013 will undoubtedly be another monumental year for us as we celebrate 20 successful years providing innovative trust software to offshore trust companies.
