The latest update for Jobstream 9 is nearly here

Over the next couple of months while many of you are skipping the office to take a well-deserved summer break, our crack development team will be burning the candle at both ends to put the final finishing touches on 9.2, the latest update for the Jobstream 9 platform.

We spoke to our Product Manager and Lead Consultant, John Keane, to hear his views on the upcoming release:

“I’m genuinely excited about 9.2. It represents real product innovation in the marketplace and sets a clear strategy for our future developments too. We’ve been delivering software that is dedicated to the trust industry for nearly 20 years now, and I think this latest update highlights that expertise. Not many of our competitors have such a long and successful track record.”

Over the coming months we’ll be releasing full details of what’s included in the update, but without further ado, let’s take look at a few of 9.2’s most important new features:

Customer Lifecycle Management


Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) will bring users the benefits of a traditional CRM solution, without the complications generally associated with the integration of a stand-alone CRM system. Acting as the core depository for all essential information on former and current contacts and business relationships, defining customers and entities, creating prospects and opportunities, and recording interactions and tasks will all be possible with CLM for Jobstream 9. It provides a true 360° view of the entire customer-business cycle integrated directly with the core administration, accounting and finance system

Role-based dashboards


With so much in your database it can sometimes be hard to get to the information you actually need. 9.2 will address this problem by offering a unique role-based approach that ensures immediate access to relevant, actionable information. Whatever your role, from Administrator to Accountant, Compliance Officer to Senior Executive, you can get straight to the information you need and quickly see which tasks need attention. What’s more, role and data-based permissions keep it all secure.

Business process management


Those readers who are more familiar with Jobstream 9 will know that it already supports integration with Metastorm BPM, the market-leading business process management application. 9.2 takes this a step further. Switching back and forth between Metastorm and Jobstream 9 will no longer be required, as users will be able to review and take action on Metastorm processes from directly within Jobstream user interface.
