An enhanced user interface for posting to accounts, the Post Simple Transaction form is scheduled for release in the next build of Visual Jobstream. It will introduce faster and more convenient account posting.
Visual Jobstream's existing procedure for posting to accounts requires the user to input data into three separate windows: a Description and Date form, a Posting form and a Posting Item form. This provides an extremely high degree of flexibility and accomodates the most complex transactions.
The Post Simple Transaction form will display the two parts of the posting, Debit and Credit, side-by-side on a single data input screen. This simpler process of posting to accounts will facilitate batch entry. The existing account posting procedure will remain available. It will still need to be used for postings of more than two parts and those that include V.A.T.
