Build 450 includes a major release of new functionality in the Accounting and Portfolio Administration modules, full implementation of Messaging, and a preview release of the Standard Document Interface.
Major enhancements to the Accounting module include the full implementation of Strict Trust Accounting, the release of Simple Posting, and significant performance gains in the Add Account process. Close Period and Bring Forward Items (Compact Period) are also released in this build.
Visual Jobstream’s Portfolio Administration module has also been greatly enhanced in Build 450. Acquisition of Securities as Income, Capital Only Event entry, Separate Charge Accounting, and Dividend Receipts have all been fully implemented, and the Add Portfolio process has been simplified.
Our Messaging service is now fully operational. Providing a full mailing service between users, we hope this new piece of functionality will provide a useful complement to your existing internal systems of communication.
Build 450 also includes a preview release of Visual Jobstream’s Standard Document Interface. This powerful link between Jobstream databases and Microsoft Word will allow Jobstream users to prepare standard documents, such as minutes. This service will be a key feature of our next release.
