Michael Brimacombe, Chairman
Michaelís career has been focused on offshore private wealth and has spanned the rapid growth and evolution of the offshore centres. A qualified accountant, Michael was formerly senior partner of Price Waterhouse Jersey and Managing Director of leading independent trust corporation, Legal Trustees. He also held an extensive portfolio of non-executive roles. Michael is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a graduate in Law from the University of London.
John M. Brimacombe, CEO
John is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He founded Jobstream Group in 1993 based on his practical experience as a trust manager. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO of Jobstream, he is currently an Operating Partner at Sussex Place Ventures (the resident fund manager at the London Business School), Chairman of Linguamatics Ltd (who provide enterprise search tools for the life sciences sector) and a non-executive director of quoted investment fund Core VCT plc (CR3.L). Previously he served as Global President and COO of Mforma Group Inc, a leading provider of content and platform technology for mobile phones. John holds a degree in Law and a Diploma in Computer Science from Trinity College, Cambridge.
Jim Sykes, General Manager
Jim holds over 25 years of experience in commercial consultancy and direct sales within the software and technology industry. Prior to taking up his position at Jobstream Group he worked with a variety of small to medium sized companies, planning and delivering sizeable commercial growth both in the UK and abroad. Previous roles include that of International Sales Director at software company Metastorm, and Director of Channel Operations at database software specialist Informix. He also served for a total of 11 years at IBM. Jim holds a degree in Business Management from Aston University.
